Event Description
Plays: “The Woodman and the Goblins”/“Fair Rosamund and Her Murderer”/“Dr. Faustus.” A lonely woodcutter finds three eggs in the middle of the dark forest, Rosamund is mistress to Henry II of England and his jealous queen sends a murderer to do her in, Doctor Faustus conjures up the devil who is a young, beautiful, elusive, woman with whom he becomes obsessed. These three scaring, funny, haunting plays are set in a dark medieval elegance with themes of love, isolation and loneliness. |
